Webinar Videos
Recordings of our past award-winning Live! Webinars!  (What awards, you may ask?  um, I'll get back to you on that....)

If you only hear sound and do not see the video, you need a codec.  CLICK HERE to download the codec.

NOTE: Sometimes the beginning of the recordings will have sound but no video.  This is a glitch in the gotowebinar recording system.  When we switch screens, the video will appear, so you can expect the first 2-5 minutes may have no video and just be a black screen.

Getting ready to move into Clarion 7.1?  Then this webinar is for you!  With many developers switching to 64 bit Windows machines, and our trust Clarion 6 no longer able to run in that environment without using a virtual machine, the time is right to move your C6 apps into the new C7.1 IDE!  JP Gutsatz takes you step by step through moving your C6 app into C7, then John Hickey demonstrates his recent experiences with the new C7.1.  Another great webinar (especially the JP part!).

Our Spooktacular Boo-Fest starts with some really squeeky audio that's supposed to be scary, but be patient because the webinar gets started pretty quickly after that (too bad tho, we got "black screen" syndrome for the first few minutes).  Dave Harms does a great overview of the Stylizer CSS editor (there is a free and paid version), then John Hickey showed a demo written by David Bratovich of XAML markup text being displayed in a Codejock OCX in a Clarion program compiled in Clarion 7.1!!!  A short demo of some of the cool features in Clarion 7.1 followed (including a very brief demo of the Report Writer), concluding with a tour through John's Firefox tabs with some cool websites to visit.  Overall a Spooktacular Boo-Fest indeed!

Our three hour SQL Super Panel is not to be missed, with Dave Harms, David Swindon, Jim Morgan, Joe Tailleur, and Shawn Mason!  A great panel discusses SQL as it relates to Clarion, sharing their ideas and experiences.  Teriffic!

There was a discussion about the use of NOCASE.  Jim Morgan clarifies:

"The use of NOCASE can have performance consequences. It can force a table scan to convert the key elements to the same
case. The panel discussion on the attribute was reversed and the audience comment is correct. In the dictionary UI,
check the "Case Sensitive" key attribute checkbox. This will omit the NOCASE attribute."
