BIO:

Born in 1951 in Paris (France) from a Russian Father and French mother
Dutifully followed my Father in India at the age of 6 when he was posted there to manage a TATA joint company in Perfumery Raw materials
Back to France in 1964 to carry on studies
Tested myself at several High Schools without finding really a way in Life after the French Baccalaureat from 1969 to 1970
Returned to live in India (1970 - 1974) where I lived a happy lenient lazy life (life was cheap and some small work was done in Perfumery world) and returned to France married to an Indian girl
Worked with my mother in her Import from India company and learnt many different aspects (accounting - computing - import regulations - commercial - sales - clients etc...)
Decided in 1978 to create my own Company to sell Natural Perfumery Products created by my father (a "nose" as we say in French) - days of USA's "Village" sales in France and I opted for a balancing the market with natural products compared to the 100% synthetic world of "Village" Products
Let this company to my parents after a couple of years
Created in 1980 another Company in the Vintage Car restoration world : Jaguar cars to their VERY best : MK 2 - E types and XK's restored ground up to NEW condition as it was done in the USA and GB already - learnt how to rebuild a V12 engine or paint a car among other things - carried on with computers and accounting - did my first BASIC small program to "show off" with a girl friend (had separated)
Had quite a success in this world till 1990's when the crisis struck also this secluded world
"Retired" to a no man's land for 2 years doing .... what "no man's" do ..... not a glorifying period of my life
"Fell on" a cdrom demo version of Clarion 4 in a French magazine and started looking at it and played with it and loved it!
Met my actual wife and fell in love
We came down to the South of France (Cap d'Agde) to live in a tiny small house of 30 square meters ...
In 1995 Love and Life (actually I think we also had something to do with it) brought us a marvelous baby boy called Alexy ....
In 1996 we moved to the Perpignan area (off the Spanish border)
Found a job at a second hand car seller with an ex Legionnaire who knew nothing in many aspects
Had the idea of writing an accounting software for people - companies like his - 1998
Started really working in Clarion 5 then 5.5 then 6 on this project : a complete accounting application regrouping ALL aspects which a small to medium sized company required
I then added a full backoffice side for Internet sales sites and my app stated then to be called "usine a gaz" (petrol factory) by some clients because it could do ALL and everything but did need a specialist to guide them through all features.
Then came the DMC days in June 2007 .....
Sorry for this unconventional CV but as you might have noticed from reading it (if you did not already think so) I am not a very conventional person Smile
